“Dysrealities” features new work by Blake Fall-Conroy that satirically ponders our techno-capitalist culture gone awry: electronic screens displace the natural environment, increased surveillance further erodes privacy, technology mediates personal interaction, and inequality gaps widen. This thought-provoking exhibition begs the questions: has our techno-utopian vision already failed us? And should we be worried?
September’s science fiction horror film is a “slow and deliberate immersion of the daunting and worrying fable of the corrupt, deceiving and indifferent economic, social and political society, that has wrapped itself around its people and who in turn have blindly accepted their fate”. Movie starts at 8pm.
