About the Authors:
Alexandra Chang’s first novel Days of Distraction is forthcoming from Ecco/HarperCollins on March 31, 2020. She is from Northern California, and currently lives in Ithaca with her husband and their dog and cat.
Katie Marks: Katie Marks received her MFA in creative nonfiction from Goucher College. She teaches writing at Ithaca College. Recently, she co-wrote the headphone walking play, The Missing Chapter, which was produced by The Cherry Arts in 2018. She is always trying to learn something new. Current interests include how to make corn tortillas from scratch and how to give her cat nightly blood pressure medicine without it causing mutually assured destruction.
GIna Nutt: GIna Nutt is the author of the poetry collection Wilderness Champion (Gold Wake Press) and two chapbooks from Dancing Girl Press — Here is My Adventure I Call it Alone and Ars Herzogica. Her writing has been published in Denver Quarterly, Ninth Letter, Puerto del Sol, Salt Hill and other journals. She is an associate editor for Black Lawrence Press and she lives in Ithaca, NY with her husband, dog, and two cats.
Raul Palma: Raul Palma is an assistant professor of writing at Ithaca College. His work has appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review, Chattahoochee Review, The Greensboro Review, Smokelong Quarterly, and The Sonora Review. The first chapter of his novel Manteca was distinguished/notable in Best American Short Stories (edited by Junot Diaz), and his short fiction was included in Best Small Fictions 2018 (selected by Aimee bender). He served as fiction editor for Prairie Schooner.
