February ’24 at Grayhaven ♡

Laika in the woods

Happy February Motel Lovers!

The shortest month of the year has a bonus day! We hope you make the most of the additional day and spend it doing something that brings you happiness.

Things at Grayhaven are well! We just wrapped up annual paint touch ups in all of the rooms, some tile re-grouting on the original room vanities (dating back to 1958) and some plaster repairs in the original boarding rooms (dating back to 1900). It feels really good to continue restoring, repairing and preserving these incredible spaces.

The list of little things to clean, repair, install, and develop remains and evolves. We continue to check things off the list and move on to the next item. Holding tight to our mission to make the best possible space for all of you, our friends and guests!

A big shout out to our amazing team – it takes a lot of hard work to keep this amazing space looking and feeling amazing: Gretchen, Audrey, JT, MaryLouise and Mark Z are absolute rock stars! Thanks for believing in the vision and keeping the wheels moving forward ♡

Sending love to all of you reading this newsletter.
Hope our paths cross in 2024,
xoxo – Alexis
