We’ve all enjoyed some well deserved time off, hosted some awesome first time and return guests over the holidays, and now we’re welcoming 2025 with open arms! A quick google search tells us that the year of the snake “brings wisdom, transformation, calmness and creativity”. We’re here for it.
New to Grayhaven? One of our favorite sayings is “teamwork makes the dream work”. Here’s the team behind all of the hard work it takes to host so many amazing guests, all the while restoring a charming historic property.

Enjoy our surrounding waterfalls, lakes, and winter woods through the lens of a different season. Cornell’s Arboretum, Buttermilk Falls, Robert H Treman and Taughannock Falls State Parks have lovely winter landscapes. Hammond Hilland Lime Hollow are some of our favorites for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or hiking.
Seneca Lake Wine Trail is offering a January Tasting Pass, and a full calendar of winery events. Better yet, we can bring the Chef & Sommelier Wine Pairing Dinner to your group right here at Grayhaven! Contact us to book.

Explore the Sagan Planet Walk from the Ithaca Commons to the ScienceCenter. Enjoy a few hours of fun experiencing the museum and walk back to the commons for lunch or dinner.
Sharpen up your blades for ice skating at Cass Park. Cass Park Rink is a standard size, enclosed ice rink that has been serving the greater Ithaca community since November 1972. Grab a hot chocolate after skating and explore the amazing water front trail.

In February, over mid-winter break, Ithaca area businesses & attractions unite to host a community-wide celebration honoring preK-12 educators. It’s our way of saying thanks to educators everywhere for all of your hard work and dedication! Teachers, we have a special package for you.
