June ’24 @ Grayhaven

It’s June, Motel Lovers!

June kicks off summer time here in Ithaca, and summer in the Finger Lakes is a BIG deal. We’ve put out the patio furniture, our gardens are in full bloom, and the town collectively squeezes as much fun as possible into these long sunny days: Ithaca Festival, Pride, Reggae Fest, lake side drives to wineries, hiking and swimming under waterfalls at state parks, sunset boat rides, and BBQs on our lovely grounds. Joy bubbles up inside of me just thinking about how much fun and beauty this season brings.
We have three great art / live music events coming up here at Grayhaven, can’t wait to see you soon!

Ithaca Fest!
This year’s theme is “Let the Sunshine In!” Starting with famous parade (Volvo Ballet, anyone?) on Thursday and continuing through Sunday, June 2nd. Ithaca’s annual free kickoff to the season is always a ton of fun, with amazing food, vendors and music up and down the streets!

Swimming is Open at the State Parks
The official start to Summer is here!  Take on the mighty diving board at Robert Treman State Park, or explore other options at Taughannock Falls and Watkins Glen. Our Motel is nestled between Lucifer Falls and Buttermilk Falls, and is the perfect launching pad for fun in the sun!!
