Writers, Illustrators, Media Artists and Calligraphers
The original house here at Grayhaven Motel was a boarding house from 1919, until the Gray family purchased it and turned it into a motel in the early 50’s. These original boarding rooms are now home to the Inlet Valley Arts Center (EyeVee).
EyeVee engages with global and local artists and communities to create a space for learning and experimentation. We host exhibitions, readings, audio/visual performances, present various workshops, and offer a residency program for visiting artists and writers.
One and two week-long solo artist residencies are available. The original main house boarding rooms have been converted into artist studios and bedrooms. Residents are hosted at no cost. A personal studio with ensuite sink, private queen bedroom, high-speed Wifi, and breakfast are provided.
We accept two residents at a time. Writers, programmers, illustrators, computer artists and calligraphers are welcome to apply.
